Since living conditions around the world vary widely, it’s more difficult to transfer employees to some locations than to others. However, determining which locations are more challenging than others can be a time-consuming and politically-charged process. One person’s bustling city with diverse cultural and recreational activities may be another’s crowded, inhospitable urban sprawl.
AIRINC’s proprietary hardship evaluation scoring system provides companies with objective evaluations based on the level of physical threat, discomfort, and inconvenience to the employee and family. Hardship scores are used to help clients establish equitable hardship payment programs. As needed, AIRINC can work with clients to develop scales for translating scores into hardship payments.
